Since understanding depth and pressure has become clearer although perhaps more enigmatic, and the sport has grown more popular, and as we understand more about human potential, she has turned her attention to analyzing the individual and developing in them the sensitivity to feel more keenly what being under the water and holding one’s breath can be.
MT is not only a personal freediving trainer and consultant but has also developed a Freedive-Yoga integrated training system for her own business, Freediving Baja, based out of La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. ( www.TechniqueinBlue.com and www.OceanYogadive.com, Sailing and Freediving Ocean adventures ).
She also travels widely to teach courses and clinics and to attend competition events to promote her style of freediving awareness.
Her dream is still to discover her full potential in freediving but more importantly through the creative arts and alternative film projects, to continue to promote wildlife conservation and sustainable resource education through the art of freediving .
Her first freediving experience began in 1996 watching her first partner and mentor, Aharon Solomons, deep dive. She was working at a yoga retreat on Crete, Greece.
